Cristy Richards, MS, MBA, Chief Engineer
Ms Richards is the Chief Engineer at Biomed Consulting, CEO of JAKTOOL, and co-investigator on an NIH_NIAMS-SBIR grant. She has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry leading cross functional teams of engineers, regulatory, quality, manufacturing and operations personnel to meet strategic organizational objectives. Serving first as Engineer, in positions of increasing authority and oversight, she gained intimate understanding of design, development and sourcing needs to successfully bring products to market. She also served as Product Development Engineering Manager for Osteotech and Principal Sourcing Engineer for Medtronic Spine and Biologics. In her free time, she co-chairs the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Mentorship Program at Rutgers University.
